pardon me, miss

pardon me, miss

A Poem by andy groe

with winter comes

rosy cheeks

and a cold tipped nose,

mittens

and scarves

and winter sighs.

it brings

chattered teeth

and shuddered hugs,

peac coats

and caps

and woolen socks.

but the most wonderful thing

that winter can draw

is the white speckle of snow

atop your soft wavy hair.
