what moments are made of

what moments are made of

A Poem by andy groe

i want to watch a movie with you

on a gloomy afternoon.

i want you to lean to me

because you feel safe,

like you've done it your

whole life.

i don't even want you to

catch my eyes to ask,

just fade into me.

and then i want you

to drift away to sleep,

sighing with content.

i'll run my hand through

your hair,

your beautifully messy hair,

and lightly wrap my arm around you.

maybe you'll snuggle closer to me,

maybe you'll dream of me,

and maybe you'll be glad you missed

the end of the movie.
