A Poem by andy groe

white walls

(which should at least be light grey)

are covered with

pictures and photos and things.

black words tell you

what is what

and when a who

brought imagination to life.

you can even see

the silly little prices

hiding below the words.

oft traveled paths

wear into nothing

but your feet,

and no matter how many warnings,

you're always tempted

to touch.

you search for the piece

that you always end up at,

even though it's never moved.

upside down and sideways,

hidden intentions

and detailed blurry faces.

favorite stairs

favorite rooms

those that scratch your head.

and you continue on scratching

until you're finished,

but it's only then that you realize

ennunciation starts with an

e.
