the one who is, who was, who is coming

the one who is, who was, who is coming

A Poem by andy groe

tell me who paints the sky

from early in the morning

until the sun has gone to sleep.

tell me who makes the flowers bloom

and the wind blow through the trees.

who tells the ants

to build a hill.

who tells the birds

to sing.

who has made the kittens play

and the giant ocean beasts?

who has given us time?

who has given us love?

they must be the one who makes it rain

and the one who shines the sun.

the one who touched

the mountains to the sky

and the belly of the earth to the bottom of the sea.

so if they are the one who has given life to me,

i want to thank them here and now.

for without these things

and many more unseen,

there would be no purpose,

no nothing,

no be.

Exceptional imagery and beautifully crafted. I love the flow, it brings magic to it. Well done indeed.
