First Love

First Love

A Poem by Amit Yervinday
"

Realising I am in love

"

Lady of loss, Girl of gain

Dwarfed in emotion, Fragile through pain.

She hungers fence, garden, patio or hedge

She wishes for love, with house & bed.

Comfort snuggles into her chord

Her affection humbles every word.

A smile a giggle or belly laugh

Her hand to hold we'd love to have.

Cherish moments from present & past,

Hard to focus, rushes so fast.

Many years ago the music started

Record after record, never been parted.

Lumping again head on pillow

I only hope she chords I will "oh"

Wrote this about 10 years ago. Found it in a old note book and wanted opinions. Not a writer at all so apologies if the grammar etc is not perfect.
