Born Elemental Chapter 4

Trid meets a scary woman and finds his school surrounded by evil creatures he is almsot facing death.

Days have passed since my birthday, September 19, had occurred. I headed downstairs for my first morning class. I went out from the Dormitory. In the corridor there was this woman who is wearing white coat and wearing a long black dress.  She smiled at me, I wanted to smiled back but as I look into her eyes, I mean, Its not an eye, its somewhat like a metal, inside it was 2 orbs. It looks dazzling. She waved at me and I slowly waved back. She went inside the dormitory, and I was left speechless. I sat down the bench, and stared at the red wall for a second. Her hair was white, its very sharp and pointy. It was needles, they were very flexible needles. Her arms are as silver as a metal. I didn’t say a word and was still staring. I didn’t notice my colleagues are passing.

Simon greeted me and so was Mary. They were talking but I didn’t mind them.

“So, Trid, Trid? Are you okay?” Simon asked. I got up and looked at Simon. I nodded slowly until Mary slapped me.

“Ouch, What?!”

“ You were strangely looking at the wall. What did you see?”

“ Who is that woman inside the dormitory?” I asked. “She really looks weird …. And strange.”

Mary gasped. “Simon! Simon! She's here!” She grabbed Simon. I didn’t want to look, yes I admit, She looks very scary, but I was here to learn how to be brave, so I’ll start now. I looked at the woman again. I saw her talking to Kaira. She stopped talking but was still smiling and looked at me. I wanted to hide, but I smiled back.  “Aren’t you late for your first class eh you three?”

The two smiled down but was still giggling and laughing. We went to the Burning Flame Hallway and went to the 3^rd floor. Yes! We’re definitely late. Professor Lockhart was already bringing out the glass tubes. We sat on the same table. Were testing on our power. Each tubes was filled with very cold Ice, dry Ice. Professor Lockhart gave them an instruction.

“Okay class, Simply touch the glass tubes in the bottom part and release your Fire.” If the Ice melts faster, then the fire is very strong, of course. While they were working on that, I was working in opening my mana. All the teachers know that I still didn’t know how to open it but, little by little I learned. Yesterday I just burned my pillow, when I supposed to throw it to the window. So now, its kinda like 50 50.

Now they are making fireballs. Its very hard to perform because you still need to be fast in making a circle by using your hand. A boy, June, that was the son of Professor Lockhart, lets go of his ball because he was so happy that he was the first one to make it perfect. The ball went near me. Luckily, Professor Lockhart controlled it. June was scolded. But Professor Lockhart was a funny person so after he scolded him, he joked about it.

“Mary, who was that woman in our dormitory?”

“It was a very powerful woman. She is a Force  Elementalist. She battled Aliuvial before and almost destroyed the Cosmos. A Cosmos is a prison here in Plures Iugo.”

“Where is it located?”

“At the Basement. It is guarded by a spell.” Simon answered.

“Oh shut up Simon! Your not Mary. Okay Trid. Its guarded by a spell that can kill you if you go near it. You'll turn into dust... Forever. The only person who can go near it is Dominant Kaira, Professor Carlo and Forcer Amanda.” Mary told me.

“Who is Forcer Amanda?”

“The Force Elementalist.” She must be really a very trusted person here in Plures Iugo.

Speaking of her, she was already staring at me from the window. Professor went outside to talk to her. I of course was continuing my business and trying not to look. A girl looked at me from the front with his two boy friends, not Boyfriends, but boy FRIENDS. She then laughed at us.
“So your Trid? Didn’t think you could be so weak. You don’t even know how to cast a fireball yet! So much of a big idol!” They laughed. I wasn’t humiliated, I was impressed by her words. I didn’t care at all. First of all I didn’t even know her.

“Shut up Tristana! You don’t even know how to light up a candle. Shame on you!” Mary insulted.

“Shut up, Freak!”

“Look who’s talking! I can give you a mirror to see if your still normal! And by the way, hang with girls, not boys.” Wow! I didn’t know that Mary could be so mean.  Tristana got up and made a fireball. She faced it to us and blasted it. When the ball was going for us, it directly went to the left and out from the window. The Amanda woman plucked one of her hair and aimed it at the fire. Her hair must really be made of steel. I mean, it’s really strong. Her scary face was still very shiny metal. Professor Lockhart went in.

“Tristana! Detention!” Well I'm happy, very happy. “Look who’s laughing now.” Simon mocked. As Tristana was about to make a fireball again, Professor held her hand. “Two days. Detention.” She looked at me with a very scary look. Amanda laughed. She walked in and Professor introduced her. We all greeted back. She called me and we went outside to talk. I was very scared to talk to her. As my hands were shaking and my heart beats faster than ever, I walked slowly so that I still had time to not look at her face.

“Trid? Why your shaking.” Professor joked, everybody laughed too. But I was very serious, why would he joked when I'm very scared. Nevermind, I arrived. I didn’t looked at her but she touches my face and she would let me look at her. I didn’t have a choice, so I looked her in her eyes. Of course, she has no eyes.

 

“I know what your wondering. I will not bite you nor scratch you, I'm here to be your guardian and Trainer.”

Oh, wrong impression. I thought that I will be killed for any second now. She grabbed my hands and went to the corner.

“She didn’t just wanted to kill you, she wanted your mana. Your mana is very different than the others even to Aliuvial. Aliuvial was kind of strong but yours will never be topped.”

So My mana is really strong. Why isn’t she acting? Maybe she's scared that many will come for her or shes just very tired to go on. 

“She is sending vampires to kill you. Vampires are really deceiving. You don’t know maybe it could be one of your friends.”

Or maybe you. I wanted to tell her that but of course I don’t want to.

“Vampires changes physical appearances but their hair will always be Light white.”

“Okay, can I go now?” I asked her. “ I think I'm missing class.”

“On Friday you will be going with me, we’ll travel to Crystal Area to train you.”

I heard of that, Carlo also told me about that one on the way here. It is where mana flow. She returned me to class and thanked me. I went in and everybody was staring at me. Professor again, joked, as usual. I explained to Simon and Mary our conversation with Amanda. And they were awed.

Class had finished and I can’t go on with my next class for Carlo is expecting me in the 5^th floor for Casting class, and it was only me. For tomorrow, Tuesday, I will be with him all day long until Thursday so I might as well carry a gallon of water. He will not be with me in the Crystal Area, for I must be trained alone. So Carlo’s assignment is to fully train me in casting.

After all my classes are done, I stayed up all night in the living room in the Dormitory, wearing my white dragon printed t-shirt and black shorts and blue slippers. I read again the History book that I found in my closet upstairs. I turned off the lights and a shadow passed at my back. I looked at the window and check if anybody was there. Now, the shadow became many so I ran upstairs to alert Kaira.

“Oh dear” Kaira speaked in a low voice. “Alert the school that…. We are now surrounded.” By the sound of that I feel scared.

Kaira grabbed her microphone in the lobby and pressed all the buttons in the speaker.

“Be now alert, turn on your lights and be alert. We are now surrounded by them. Stick together. And don’t walk alone in the corridors. We are now surrounded; again, we are now surrounded.” Her expression was that she was scared.

“Oh, dear, just beware my boy.” Kaira told me.

 

“Trid what's happening? W-what happened?” Simon and Mary was very concerned.

“There was group of shadows lurking in the window.”

“Vampires! That nasty creatures.” Simon said.

We were leaning and sitting in the wall facing the window. The walls were already casted with a spell.

Now, what's going to happen? What's going to find me? What's going to kill me? Now that Vampires are inside the Building, Danger is now looking for me.

The teachers in each section are guarding us students and some are guarding the doors.

We all stayed silent until I fell asleep, until we are safe, but when will that happen? When will it start?

It cant be tomorrow, not today. Maybe If I face death it will all be over..Soon.
