Timeless

Timeless

A Poem by Nosce Te Ipsum

Garden lights and warm summer nights.

You create pangs in my heart.

Something never ending

on the edge of life and death,

no, not really death,

life and destruction.

You have the power to destroy me

and break me down

but you create me.

I was nothing and through time

you continuously build me up

and make me into the person you want me to be

which is the person I want myself to be.

Hair flowing in the wind,

the night sky around us,

the moon shining on your stunning face,

eyes sparkling, luscious lips wet with desire.

I do not need this.

It is a beautiful addition

but I need your soul,

give me the human being you are,

everything you have ever experienced,

seen, heard, or done, good and ugly,

I want it, I want you,

your life until the day I die.

About
Honestly, I simply write for myself. I'm not big on the technicalities. I do it to keep myself sane because generally there is no other way to release my emotions. I will be thrilled and overjoyed if .. more..
