Read My Soul

Read My Soul

A Poem by Nosce Te Ipsum

Rain falling lightly

but I do not mind.

Strawberries and dreams,

dreams now and then.

Art.

What more to say?

Beautiful breasts and awful men,

still art.

Common sense,

do not teach me that!

She is not here,

I am not worried,

she is a strong girl.

I need more,

my soul is craving.

Searching for something new

without my permission.

Something new without promise.

Many strong statements in this poem. Each line making the poem stronger. The flow of your words made the poem a pleasure to read.
"without my permission.
Something new without promise."
I like rainy days. Allowed my mind to roam. A excellent poem.

Honestly, I simply write for myself. I'm not big on the technicalities. I do it to keep myself sane because generally there is no other way to release my emotions. I will be thrilled and overjoyed if .. more..
