Absorb

Finding myself is terrifying and wonderful.

I am making my way into unknown territory.

New places and new faces.

I am absorbing so much

and finding out so much more.

I do not know what is coming my way,

but I am anxiously awaiting it.

Mysteries are suspenseful

and make you wonder

but thrilling at the same time.

Look forward to your unknown future

and accept it with an open heart

and outstretched arms.

This is beautiful. I think there could be more continuity with rhyme. But I am an all or nothing kind of girl, it's a matter determined by taste. I really love the last three lines, they kind of remind me of the serenity prayer. But obviously less religious. I love the curiosity and excitement described. I feel a clear message you were sending. and I think you did it with a healthy dose of whimsy.
