A Poem by Nosce Te Ipsum

The words flow breathlessly, advancing forth

The instrument of construction unveiling her soul

Thoughts, wants, hungers, and desires all protruding

The viewpoint that lay before her resembling an endless horizon

Her mind doesn’t perceive the vociferous world around her

Just the composition in front of her and the impressions in her mind

Time could pass her by, yet she would remain content

Her heart bleeding onto the paper, she continues

Until she lays down the interpreter of her feelings

And declares the masterpiece of her life complete
