Winter Night

Winter Night

A Poem by Nosce Te Ipsum

Head of an owl placed on my finger

Body of that owl placed on my chest

Yesterday

She’s a silly girl

Dark, mysterious view of my freedom

Sometimes we need that in our lives

Stomach growling, arms are full

Different supports, different beliefs

Organic and exaggerated

Reserved and subdued

I know I tell you over again

Please listen,

Give my freedom

Uneven…give me freedom

Honestly, I simply write for myself. I'm not big on the technicalities. I do it to keep myself sane because generally there is no other way to release my emotions. I will be thrilled and overjoyed if .. more..
