Static Equilibrium - Take a Leap

Static Equilibrium - Take a Leap

A Poem by Andrez Cervantes

Standing on the edge,
The wind in your hair, take a stretch.
Your eyes deeply carved of Earth,
Glistening in the Sun, calming like a hearth.
I couldn't keep my balance;
What is this falling of silence?
So sophisticated this seems to perceive,
A daunting feeling that can't be relieved.
Here falls the dark sky,
Another sleepless night I will lie.
