A Nation of Fallacious Freedom (& Other Notes of Minor Consequence)A Poem by Andrew N. FarrensExperimental rhyme......A Nation of Fallacious Freedom
(And Other Notes of Minor Consequence)
I am a cohort of Drew
Kazinsky, who is from the Westies 209 and he can make you do the
Harry Houdini If you
happen to screw with me I’m
just a loser, baby And so
I have decided that possibly, just maybe Most of my friends in Stockton wish that I was dead because I
think that they hate me I love them all anyway Although you people drive me f*****g crazy That’s the reason for my tooth extractor kit I just grab you by the lip
when you spout off nonsensical bullshit And I tell you to shut the f**k up but you refuse to quit I wish
I knew the reason because then I’d be rich Because doesn’t it seem like
some folks just love to get hit?? It’s a
perverted all the time sick Nancy Boy fetish That seems to affect many in
The World who are sadly afflicted And
frankly, ladies and gents and gents and ladies, I just
don’t get it…… Maybe I am not supposed to, I really don’t know Sometimes
in the murkiness of the deadly gloom, I’m afraid to lose control Of my
pen when it slashes the paper For I don’t really know where it might possibly go What
paths of a madman’s delight, It might travel in the dark night And even though I still feel
an urge to not give up and fight, I’ve learned that I’m a gray man who is neither black nor
white This
does not mean my skin, which is thick and not thin It means I am not of the light Nor am I from the evil that exists inside of
many a man’s heart I do know the difference
between wrong and right It’s
getting harder and harder to live my Life Among the Freedoms that as an
American I feel I deserve Sometimes
I feel guilty when I’m lying alone in my bed Stoned off the good, green
herb That
sends me floating inside of my head And if
I ever find the courage and the nerve I’d
have to admit that our liberty is not guaranteed When
it comes to anything in everyday life Or
even about fire-arms and weed The typical American does not understand That
contrary to what he may believe He and his entire family are not nor will they ever be free……..
