It's a PityA Poem by Andrew N. FarrensThis was a what I call a "quick-rhyme" I wrote for my friend's beat. If you click on the below, you can hear the music as you read the lyrics.....It’s A Pity .A.N.F.
It’s a pity But this place fits me Like a size 10 smelling
s****y The weed I smoke lifts me To the clouds above the
ground I buy it by the gram but I
smoke like a pound So really what now?? God has never been anywhere
around this place The truth is evident upon
the children’s face The Sun turned black in the
sky I sat there amazed,
wondering why We all live happily ever
after Heads ringing with the
silent laughter I can’t help but smile at
you b******s In your cars, driving oh so
much faster To meet the Lord, almighty
master I had a beautiful car until
I crashed her Smack dab into the curb,
next to a tree Ran from the scene, can’t
identify me Now I ride Shotgun Through the streets of
Central Stockton Just another white boy that
loves hip-hoppin’ Just another poet that
God’s forgotten
