This Life I lead is so damn ironic and filled with asinine bullshit

Even when Reality is serious, Life is just a game and I am determined to win it

But it can also be lonely when there is not a special woman in your Life to help you live it

I am such a weirdo that most girls don’t understand what I’m saying to them

Though some of the smart ones almost get it

The truth of the matter and I write this choking back bitter laughter

Is that I am much too independent so when a girl does fall in love,

She learns quickly that the best thing to do is quietly forget it

I like to think I can be romantic and sweet but I know that any second

The Gods of Wrath could strike me down for my many sins in the bloodlust of an instant

My rebellious nature is not hidden and I don’t have to be introspective

To realize that every single girl I’m interested in at first words can sense it

And it is never conducive to a stable home life to have a tendency to be a son of a b***h

Which is what I am and even though a woman I would NEVER EVER hit

I destroy the love a girl has for me quite quickly and this I completely and freely admit

I don’t understand why I’m an a*****e but it just seems to kind of fit

Look, I already understand that the woman in the relationship

Is always right, no matter what because she has the power of the P***y

And I would swear on my ironic Life that what I am going to say next is not illiterate machismo type bullshit

If you were so inclined to take the time and push me

But if you know how to use your tongue and make that woman cum

Then this Life will be less confusing

            At least that has been my experience……...but what the hell do I know?

Well I'm glad you said you're an a*****e it saves me the time. Don't get me wrong, I respect your tell it like it is mentally but you know that you're going to ruffle a few feathers along the way.

Heya, I am truly sorry if I annoyed you; that was NOT my intention. I put this up here as an afterthought and it simply amazes me the reaction it has gotten. I just thought folks would dismiss it as the ramblings of a mad-man.
This was written in the spirit of personal debasement, a sarcastic cynical look at my choices in relationships. I guess it does not convey that but it is too late to change the poem so all I can do is try to be clear and concise in future rhymes. I am hurt a bit that you imply this is sexist and that I do not like women because some of the of the greatest influences in my life have been women. As to experiencing love, I have truly loved one women, whom you can find out about from reading other poems/essays I have written. That love was so deed and convoluted on both our parts that it made cynical but we did LOVE one another.
Again, I'm sorry if I offended you and women in general. Please believe it was not my intent......

I can understand that this was a reaction and not a true reflection of you. Don’t be sorry…there is no need. We have all been guilty of, at some point or another, acting on impulse. I can also understand that it would hurt you that implied you are sexiest, but try to see where I am coming from…I don’t know you and all I have to go by is your work. If you were a woman reading this…would you not feel the way I did? Would you be comfortable if the women, who have influenced you, read this? Anyhow, reading this annoyed me slightly, yes, but I got over it quickly. I just wanted to be honest with you about how I felt. I’m not offended, nor was I when I read this. It takes a lot more to offend me. I really don’t hold it against you. I won’t always agree with you either and I have no qualms being honest about what I think. The writing on this one is a bit wordy, you could prob drop some of it. I like the content and many of the word choices, I just think that it would be more powerful if pared down a little bit.

Who doesn't love an a*****e?
My old roommate used to laugh at me and say, "ahh, yeah, see, for some reason you are amused by a******s." that's it, I love a******s because they make me laugh and they make me guess and I can shake it off. I'm a dick myself. A really sweet and honest one, but... that's a secret!

I wasn't confusing sex with love; that is why my friends make fun of me and say I need "a piece of a*s" because I have to be emotionally involved with the woman before the sex. Otherwise it's awkward for me. You know, all that "friends before lovers" craziness. I wrote this one in the heat of a spiteful moment.......
