Meanness

People are so mean, and I just can't figure out why. I always try to be a good person, but I always happen to be a victim. It's not right.

People are so mean,

they make you feel like a little bean.

 

You try to give your best,

but you get a dagger into your chest.

 

You treat them well,

but you fall into a dark thorny shell.

 

You only ask for respect,

but to them you’re just a poor wreck.

 

So you say: «God, forgive them»,

‘cause these folks are getting closer to hell.

The meanest people are the most insecure. they try to bring you down to feel better about themselves. This never works and they feel crap so they do it all over again. It’s not always easy. The hurt is evident in here. Nicely written. I'm sorry people are so mean to you.

Yep, you're right :) they just act like that because they feel too much insecure about themselves, and they try to find a way to feel better making fun of you... but we have just to get over these bad feelings and try not to be hurted by these kind of people :)
