Lo siento (I'm sorry)

Lo siento (I'm sorry)

A Poem by andreii93
"

This is another poem I wrote in the beautiful Spanish language, la lengua del amor.

"

Lo siento,

te hice daño y ahora

me arrepiento.

Te pido perdón.

Te echo de menos,

soy como una ardilla

que busca una

bellota para comer.

Eres la bellota.

Dime algo, hazme

brillar de luz cristalina.

Quiero volver tuyo.

Por favor. Eso es lo

único que deseo.

ENGLISH TRANSLATION:

[I'm sorry, I let you suffer and now I regret it. I crave your forgiveness. I miss you, I'm like a squirrel searching for an acorn to eat. You're the acorn. Tell me something, make me shine with a crystalline light. I want to be again yours.  Please. This is my sole desire.]

Now this is a perfect example of a short and sweet poem. It gets to the point well. You used good wording in some areas. This one particular line caught my attention, "Tell me something, make me shine with a crystallin light." That line is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. It makes the poem interesting this way:) and, "This is my sold desire" Is a line that everyone can relate. referencing the smilie of the squirrel searching for the acorn was also a nice touch. I think you took these words and wrapped it into a lovely poem. Good job :)
