Gravediggers and Gunslingers

Gravediggers and Gunslingers

A Poem by noxreallyxhonest
"

A glimpse of a possible future, inspired by Thomas Malthus and the idea of how we're destroying the Earth with over population

"
We've known about this for 200 years,
People have known and no warning that i remember has ever been sounded.
We'll become gravediggers,
Gravediggers and Gunslingers.
There'll be metal shutters on our windows and we'll set fires just to watch them burn.
The world will be our garden,
we'll plant trees and watch them grow over the graves of the past and our friends and what never came to be.
we'll fold paper animals and stay in bed all day,
and re enact old paintings, where i am always beautiful and you never look away.
