Take off. The mask.

Take off. The mask.

A Poem by Andrea-Ioana Dumitrescu

Take off the shadows
Of our past
And let them fall
Into the abyss
Of time

The mask you're wearing
Is hiding the tears
Your soul is willing
To cry

Take off and fly with me
Into a future of our own

Take off the mask
And show yourself
To me

Lovely poem. You've covered a interesting concept and portrayed your feelings well. The last stanza is a powerful ending.
