the Scientist Syndrome

the Scientist Syndrome

A Poem by Matt DeFranco

Oh, "scientists" who
know what
must

What disregard
for
might

Who deliver all things
spoken with
no pending
rights

Oh, you who presuppose
unjust
failing simple patterns,
failing to find the purer
form of
atoms

Binding ways hedged up
to reveal
In seeking the truth it's the
truth you
steal

And every examination
with predetermined
flaw
based on  your
ill-conditioned oversight of law

And every tittle of disbelief adds unto,
yet perplexing
queries
left for you

What promises due,

what wonders of life,

what with your disease will never come true.

Matt A. DeFranco

You are welcome Matt :)
To view the world through scientific eyes only, is to be half blind. I agree with Jack and Poppy. You seem to carry out a loud tone without the use of exclamation marks or capital letters, but simply through your choice of words. It's interesting. Nicely penned, Matt!

Thank you!
Matt, this is so well written and so very loud I would say. You speak in volumed tones with this piece. Good job my friend.

I liked this, it got me thinking to be fair but I like it - You have some good imagery here.

Good job!

Thank you very much!
Presumption. It seems. Gained some perspective, and that's always a great thing. Thanks for this
