Seeking YouA Poem by Matt DeFranco
It is an arduous task..
severed from you when all for eternity our lights mingled, illuminating time And our whispers of love fogged the backdrop of life to come And your beauty breathed the essence of defining traits And you were less concerned with moralities Seeing the souls in need waiting to bestow benevolence to a world full of greed I wonder if I'll see you in this life or forever seek to find you I wonder if I'll give in to another not to be alone One way or another it's you I've always known...
