Harmony's Grin

Harmony's Grin

A Poem by Matt DeFranco

How sacred this night

and every other moon dispensed to us

How grateful the lessons

of abiding

for we all are a part

and a part of... we all are for

The living..and the passers

thereof

The in-love's and the

love within

Oh, how harmony grins...

Doth the aura

not shine

beyond our productivity

as if perhaps

it is so?

That soul transcends

sake?

Even catastrophe

of our sins

Oh, how harmony grins.....

The lonesome

and the some..

not alone

That smile or touch

whatsoever brings us

home.

We breathe ,

we loathe

and reach if so

wanting,

waiting

these dreams we

sew.

Wipe the tear

oh, heavy- laden

eyes

for dawn awaits

it's here,

it's alive!

To rescind the gloom,

the shadow's dim

that our harmony may,

Eternally spin....

A great writer is not always so eloquent with his words, not always the best orator, not even the most profound within literacy; but one who is led by his pen through the inspiration of the heart. One.. more..
