Dancing With the EarthA Poem by Matt DeFrancoShe careens on the sand while the night streams into the deep. The dew saturates her skin as she spins and twists, the ocean applauding her elegance. And the waves crash at her feet as she bows with reverent approach. The stars gleam and glimmer yet envious at her luster.
A still.....yet heavy silence consumes nature as the mist is broken by spirit all the while the earth tilts with her turns and tears fall from cerulean. Love knows no bounds as it is ever displayed and triumph is art, systematically unspoken.
What more is the sun ever inward emanating warming light?
She opens her eyes with a subtle grin and a quiet thunder lingers. She glares at her earth laden feet with joy, less care or worry of tomorrow. For today she dances with the Earth.
