Where She Is Sewn

Where She Is Sewn

A Poem by Andrew Acuna
"

A poem about the one girl I really want but could never get because she loves a guy who doesn't love her the same.

"

I only loved one girl
And it was you, just you
The love I had is fading slowly
Because we both sit here lonley
I wish you loved me the way you loved him
But you don't
You can't see the truth
The truth is he doesn't really love you
And I do
He uses you and manipulates when he wants
And I'm afraid your heart is the only thing at cost
I wish you could see me and the real love i bring
The kinda love that will make your heart sing
But if fake love and fake happiness is what you want
Then I will not stand in the way
For I cannot fight for something not wanting to be caught
Her name shall never be revealed
For if she reads this she will know
I will always keep her in my broken heart
For that is where she is sewn
This girl has never been my love
But god knows I have sent prayers asking up above
I don't think I ever got my prayer to come true
For I am still here alone, praying to be with you
You probably had some suspisicion
That I loved you more than a friend
But I never asked of your love in any other way
Because I knew you wanted the "X" in the end
