A harsh truth

Sometimes loving someone has the same affect as spoon-feeding someone,

they get used to it and learn nothing,

taking for granted the compassion within each serving.

Eventually you realise it's one sided,

and ask yourself:

 "did they ever even feel the same way I did?"

This is so relatable. I was once in a relationship just like that and I never felt so used and taken advantage of more in my life. It is just the absolute worst and can play with your own self confidence. A very honest poem thank you for sharing.

I'm sorry to hear you went through something like that man. Yeah, I met someone who was like that too, thought she was genuine but turned out not to be, luckily the relationship didn't go too far but yeah, it's not a situation you wanna be in innit
