Vampire

I wrote this after watching the movie Twilight! (Which is an awesome movie and book) =]

 

You describe yourself as a monster

A beast, an animal, a killer

You say I should be afraid, yet I am not

You say you desire the red river that flows through my veins,

Yet you say “You are my life”

I am a figure of mankind

My skin is smooth and white, yet it does not shine

Unlike mine, your skin beams with a simple touch of the sun

When our hands meet, I feel the ice lying on your fingers

Yet I can feel the warmth in your heart

To me, you are not a monster

To me, you are the love of my life
