All Will Be Grateful

All Will Be Grateful

A Poem by The Anathematic Error
"

This might be goodbye...

"

How can you say care

And not even make eye contact?

The only one who speaks to me

Is her, the one who makes me cut

How can’t you tell I’m scared

From my life, I want to retract

My heart, only she can see

She knows what I want, and what I want is death

Unlike you, she talks to me, whispering in my ear

Telling me what I want, and how to do it,

Through my heart was a blade

She took it out and guided it to my wrist

I desire her. My soul, she has kissed

She gets me. She knows my interests

The only one who has an understanding of my soul

Thanks to her, soon I’ll be free of all my debts

Debts to Desolation, debts to Fear

But I’ll be free through a path of blood

Blood spilled for my soul to be free

She and I will do it for no one to see

No one will notice it happening, but all will be grateful

Dark, tragic and true. Spokenfrom the heart. And felt in each stroke of the knife. Powerful, dramatic, and hauntingly sad.
