Vibrant Turned Pale

Vibrant Turned Pale

A Poem by The Anathematic Error

In my veins there is no blood
Emptiness pumps through my heart
The absence fills me like a flood

My embodiment turns pale
Once was vibrant with life
But now has gone stale

My heart was once vibrant with life
It was the engine powering my soul
But absence is the only fuel, along with strife
