A Call to Desolation

A Call to Desolation

A Poem by The Anathematic Error

Desolation, can you hear my voice, crying out?

Why have you left me, you’re all I had

Please come back in this time for desperation

A plea for your return I still shout

Even now, I can’t even feel sad

Please, if you’re listening, it’s time for reconciliation

Although a false smile sticks to my face like a mask

I start to feel not even your touch, Desolation

But I don’t need your touch, I need glee, I need ecstasy

Reconciling with all who left is such an impossible task

I cannot find them, they don’t want for me to feel their sensation

So please, I desire feeling. Desolation, please hear these words from me…
