A Smile So Fake

A Smile So Fake

A Poem by The Anathematic Error

My heart cries out, the words inaudible

I say I’m fine, but I long for help so much

I want to explain, but I don’t know if I’m able

My thoughts toward death, my soul shall touch

For help, I want to cry

Yet it hurts so much to try

Please, if you hear my plea

I’ll show my problems for you to see

When I try to ask

The words aren’t heard

My voice can’t seem to do such a task

For me to live starts to seem absurd

If I can’t find help, my life I shall take

Hoping no one will notice me gone

Although I’m dying, I show a smile so fake

So my feelings no one may focus on
