The Tomb

The Tomb

A Poem by ana

Makeup can not hide these scars of self infliction
I'm crawling out of my skin needing you so badly
The needing for you is like an addiction
I'll be yours gladly

I look to you for guidance and comfort
Your so close but I can't see or be with you
Looking thru the looking glass, oh the things you discover
This feeling isn't anything new

As I lie in this empty tomb
Wanting, waiting, needing for your touch
I'm now on the other side in the devil's waiting room
I guess I'm needing you to pull me from the darkness to much

Where is this sunshine you speak of
I'm drowning without you to lean upon
Could you give me a gentle shove
If you don't help me find it soon, what's left inside will be gone
