How I see myself

How I see myself

A Poem by ana

As I look in the mirror
I tremble as I don't recognize the person I see
My eyes have never been clearer
I'm no longer your sweet Marie

Seeing my body weather away into nothing
I can see my soul in my eyes
All is left is the cutting
This is not what you wanted as a prize!

The blood in my veins isn't pumping
My mind see's nothing but my demise
My throat has a huge lump
My pain hurts, and no one can hear my cry's

Can't seem to cut out my heart
The madness that is my life
Is there a way to restart?
I need the blood to stop my strife

The burden of my pain in my soul needs to stop
It's true you can see your life flash in front of you
It's only a matter of time before I completely stop caring & drop
You really were my glue....
