I Wish I Could See

Just something I felt inspired to write. Haven't written for a while :p

I Wish I Could See

I wish I could see the bright colors of the world,

See the multicolored maple leaves sway lazily toward the freshly watered grass.

I wish I could see the beauty I posses,

Like a thousand white doves released into a sun setting sky,

Or like a school of fish swimming happily in through the colorful coral of the aquamarine ocean.

I wish I could see the wisdom I carry,

Like a library full of books waiting to be read,

Or like parents rushing their children to school so that their minds can grow.

I wish I could feel the acceptance I need,

Like a mother holding her newborn child knowing that her life is about to change.

I wish I could see past the gloomy clouds, covering my world from the big, bright sun, and past the endless rain that puts me down.

I wish I could love,

I wish I could laugh,

But most of all,

I wish I could see me.
