I am weak

I am weak because i question before i believe

i choose to put the views of others before my own

I allow myself to be discredited because i'm scared to disappoint.

I'm scared to not be "a part"; to be rejected.

I'm weak because i convince myself otherwise when i know my own morals. 

I know my ethical code. 

But i let it erode.

Just so I don't disappoint you.

And I assume I know what will disappoint you.

I am strong

I am strong because i will die for you.

i love and I love hard. it's painful how much my love for you seeps under my skin.

i am strong because i can take it when i don't feel it.

Which is weird, because (i think) this makes me weak too.

I don't know how strong i believe I am until I look backward

And I realise what i've actually survived.

I'm strong because I can just get on with it

When all I'd want to do if i thought about it

Would be to run and hide.
