Sometimes, it's best not to find out what lies ahead.

He had been following her for the past 10 minutes; why hadn't she turned around? He thought desperately. Notice Me, love I am right behind you. He decided to walk a bit more faster just to see if she would notice him, but she didn't. Her ears were full of a melody of a forgotten song.

He was right behind her, close enough to touch. She should have sensed me by now, he wondered, doesn't the girl have any self preservation? Her back clothed by the black hoodie she usually woe, music blasting in her ears, she always took this route, at exactly the same time. At first he was curious, she was alluring in a way that he didn't understand, HE had been watching her for months now, so much so that he could predict her movements. He began following her a few weeks back from distance and then slowly venturing closer.

She was always alone, her gait as if practiced, she never noticed him, her face hidden by the hood and her hair, he itched to pull it back and see if it was worth the effort.

Finally, gathering some courage he pulled off her hood, she turned and saw him right in  the eye for the very first time..

Nobody saw him after that and the girl continued her as if nothing has ever happened.
