Sometimes it's all in the eyes of the beholder

It's been 6 years since we met, but everyday feels like a new experience, I see a side of no one has seen, at least that's what I think.

I have been locked up in this room for the past 6 years only seeing the light of day when you wish. I have seen your lovers come and go. None of them of have lasted as long as I have.

Some of them stare at me in horror, after all I am a reflection of their future. some of them find their salvation in me.

I feel numb as if everything around me is just moving and I stand still in this infinite time.

Jack locked the room sparing a glance at her one last time before making a resolve of disposing the corpse,

"Phew! that one lasted so damn long", he smirked at the latest,

The cowering girl stared at the pale lifeless body of the girl in the glass cage, her features distorted, blood clots turned ugly and eyes that screamed defiance even after death.
