a stormy haiku story

a stormy haiku story

A Poem by anais.vionet
"

daily thunderstorms sweep Georgia - I LOVE them

"
thunderstorming skies...
my tongue reaches to catch the
important raindrops

the lightning's flash
causes me to flinch in surprise
Then an after-boom!!

A squeak of fear
static electricity
makes my hair rise up

maybe inside is a
a much better place to be
in a thunderstorm

Yes it's really joyful. You have captured the beauty of it in your poem well. I enjoy thunderstorms sitting in my balcony. One of my friends told me, 'thunderstorms are the sign for nothing remains forever', and it's true because of how everything gets changed after that.
