Taste of Rain

Taste of Rain

A Poem by anaisbelieve

satalite of suspicion
i saw you do something
devious and wished
you could have included
me. i am a dirt darkened
hope swallowing and spitting
out a mess. i am coughing
out my collages, red ribbon
swirl in the mist of your
missing, the light in the
house on the rocks blinds
in an attempt to illuminate
the stakes in place. a creature
crumbling in the enemy
voice tucked closely. i have
balance and i have the half
knots.
