An Ode to Black

An Ode to Black

A Poem by Ana R
"

love compared to nature and color

"

Veins down our arms intertwine like elongated branches

Trees in disguise

Blood pumps and I realize I just might be traveling time.

I turn to you, we wonder together,

 What is blue, really?

Tell me.

Just reflections of light?

You are dark and endless

Black, you are all of my colors

Mixed together, delicately, patiently

Our child will be royalty and together we are god because of the life we make

Let us be gentle with one another, like the grass’s sway

Let us love furiously and deadly, like stormy weather

Find your calm in my eyes and I will find mine in yours forever

This pieces is potent within itself and vividly written.
Raw and untamed...as is love itself

Thanks for the share

Love Is................... Penetratingly beautiful. It captures the very essence of what love truly is. Colorfully and magnificently scripted.
