Vacancy

Vacancy

A Poem by Anastasia

I sat at in the midst of the noise,
in silence,
gazing at you.

You were walking tall and proud,
with that immaculate smile

on your pretty little face.

Your skin was glowing
as the sun rays hit it
so softly.

You were laughing,
And I just stared,

Remembering back on those times
where it had been me
who put that same smile on your face.

I die a little inside
every time I glance at you.

And every time you glance back,
I wonder
What on earth went wrong.                       {(A.D.C)}

Some deep feelings of your heart getting reflected through the poem... your heart even spoke up to your someone "heart to heart" in words. Well pen`d!

The corpse round your intent is overflowing with a distant almost mindless crave...A love of wretched saltation. Almost teenage in sense. Thanks!

I sat at in the midst of the noise,
in silence,
gazing at you.

(I'm not sure what the noise is or its significance other than you using it to show your opposite state in the next line. Check your grammar. "I sat (at in) the midst...)

There is a sentimental sadness here that can be felt in the last line. There's no chance of getting back together again and that last line confirms it. Good poem.
