Happy Pill

Happy Pill

A Poem by anabelliebee
"

I am clinging to your presence as you light up the darkness view

"

I meet you with one of the vulnerable moments in the workplace.

It all started when I had to talk to you. A comfortable conversation.

I was saddened the moment I heard about the changes. That exact moment,

I admit to myself, I feel something different towards you. I am attracted.

To be honest, I was flabbergasted the first time I worked with you.

You keep bumping in my way. You never fail to annoy me each day.

I don't know what happened, but I never stopped thinking about you.

Those sleepless nights, restless days, endless why's.

Lub-dub-lub-dub! My heart beats so fast when you are near.

Ugh! You're getting on my nerves.

I never imagined I had this kind of feeling for you.

Even though I really hate you in the first place.

I like your strictness yet understanding attitude.

I enjoy seeing your mysterious-looking hair.

I appreciate your tallness as a sign of being firm.

From the bottom of my heart, I admire you.

Sometimes, you make me smile.

Other times, you make me laugh

Most of the time, you make me baffled.

Oftentimes, you're one of the reasons to pull

myself up at work.

I am clinging to your presence as you light

up the darkness view on my journey to work.

You've been taking some part of my heart.

And have always been.
