Confusion

I do not know this feeling

It always puts me in a daze

I laugh and smile and even blush

Sometimes it lasts for days

It shows up unexpectedly

And in my mind it stays

When the butterflies all flap their wings

My heart begins to race

I understand this feeling now

It’s as clear as the stars above

It’s nature’s way of saying, “wow!”

I think I am in love.
