Fade Out

He wants to let her go...

It was so sad that

The one he loved

Had her heart with another

And he was going to do

What he would always do

Let her go to that other

 

He knew he would always smile and seem carefree

But his heart was crumpling before him

Each time he saw or heard them together

It felt like how the bullet of a sniper

Snaps the life out of his victim

 

He tried to busy himself to stop thinking about her

But it was just thoughts of her that kept flooding his soul

He kept asking himself if he was a fool

He did not like the torment

For just the one time he decided to love

He loved the wrong one

 

 

He had to let the one he loved go

Because it was his wish for her to be happy

He was going to let the tears continue to flow

Like an endless river course

For he knew he would one day wipe them off

And move on

He would smile and his hands would be clapping

For there would be joy in his soul

That is, if he would ever in his life

Fall in love again

Because this was his last and final

Fade off....
