It's just poetry.

An untold story.

An insignificant series of events.

It's all make believe.

A reflection of the past.

Of what never happened.

Of what you can't get out of your head.

The future,

All the should, would, and could haves.

The present,

Of everything you want to change.

Of all that's relatable,

Careless decisions.

Colorful nonsense.

It's just poetry.

Art in constant motion,

Of little consequence.

It's just poetry,

An outlet to render sanity.

...it doesn't mean a thing.
