Walking Poem

I'd make a real good poem out of you.

The fire emitting through your skin,

I bet you barely let anyone in.

...anymore.

Are you even capable of it anymore?

Wild fire.

I bet people run tired

From those 3rd degree burns.

...not me.

It's the challenge I feel drawn to.

Do you see the reflection of embers

Blazing in the darkest parts of my eyes?

I'm intrigued.

Not to own, not to win,

But to prove you wrong

of all your doubts.

I want to prove you wrong

that you're better without...

Me.

Baby, I'm immuned to fire.

I'm the motherfuckin' sea.
