Free me…

of this insanity

I feel every waking morning. 

Where the world stops,

silencing all its noise...

just for a few seconds, 

so I can feel your heartbeat

from sixty miles away,

pounding its way toward me,

inside of me,

so I can start my day.

Free me.

Save me from this insanity.

Or, feel me.

And take me under, 

leaving behind all of the world’s sanity.
