Do you not have that urge to learn?
To learn is to welcome the unknown. It means to engage in the confusion to understand the things--- the factors that cause self-destruction. Do you not have that demand to tie lingered strings into a knot? To see how they will all connect. To bind them so tightly nothing will unravel to the end of their thread. To be at the front lines from the get-go. To attest the significance when everyone else stepped away. To know you were there to pursue when no one else even considered to. Does it feel too demanding of you?
To grasp. To become personally involved. To be invested. To care enough? To realize you have that choice to be willing-- to give a s**t, to take control, to give ALL of you-- and, continue to. And be damned to vent any less. It's a fair request. Because you learn to grow in a world lived for today, and for a world of hope for tomorrow. It's a fair request. To stay, long enough to find out. Let your thoughts crumble and fall to the dirt that is one with the Earth. Be humble enough to walk upon them. Roll in them. Be filthy. That's what it means. That is what confidence means. Learn to pat the soil hugging the seed that has no home. As it thirsts for water, crave for knowledge. Crave for challenge. Be that seed that sprouts after endless changing seasons. Allow yourself to flourish from the resources of the garden, from the heart of passion, and revived from a touch of compassion. Find that home, within you. Let your roots embrace the soil on a daily basis. Acknowledge the impact you have to emit air for those to breathe in your inspiration. It's absolute. Own it. Lead yourself toward great things. Move to know you. Your inner self. Your extremities. Your complexities. Your simplicities. Your internal struggles. Move toward knowing, so you can continue growing with resilience. Know you're influential... at your worst. at your best. It's the art of--- Knowing. Understanding. Growing. Learning... from your worst. from your best. © 2015 Amy Sese |
