Go Ahead... Judge

We cant change who we like
People cant change if its a guy or girl.
But you can choose not to judge them.
Why judge because they have found someone they care about.
People who waste their time to judge others
Are just upset that they are above them.
Just because they're happy doesn't mean you have to break them down.
They will be happy with who ever they want to be with.
If you have a problem with it
Don't pay attention to them.

If we can't change who we like, then it follows that we can't change who we do not like.
Therefore, there are people who do not like two people finding romantic and/or sexual satisfaction in someone of the same gender and/or sex.

It's hard to fail to judge what you don't like. Dislikes based on culture, teaching, socialisation (all that stuff which we call 'values' and too often pretend is natural and eternal) particularly need to defend themselves. Being baseless, their only defence is to decry what they disagree with, for without this they will quickly be overturned.
Judging therefore has a clear importance. In fact, I'm not sure if people can choose NOT to judge. Could you choose not to judge people who judge? I know I can't. Each time I hear of people being bullied because of their ethnicity, sexuality, appearance etc. I immediately judge the bullies. Thinking about it in my reflective moments, I wonder whether -- if I was them -- I would be able to be any different.

I don't believe that people can choose their values. They are given to us, we merely react to them.
