Grab!

I'll shut my mouth!

 

Push!

I'll mind my own business!

 

Scream!

You went too far!

 

Rush!

To grab the phone

 

Block!

Me from getting help!

 

Gasp!

I can't breathe

 

Sigh!

Wow. What I get from this is abuse. Instantly what I could see was (when reading the italicized words.) a couple, the woman brutally being abused, and not even fighting back... and then when reading the words, her just spitting out excuses to cover up something that is really not her fault.

My mind is in creative overdrive, so if I'm babbling, don't mind me. This poem really ignited the creative side of my brain. This poem says a lot in such short phrases.
