Loving You Anyway

Loving You Anyway

A Poem by Ashley Myers

I sit alone and wonder

How much worse my life could be

My happiness is gone

Without you here with me.

I wish that I could see you

I wish that you were here

I want to see your smile

I want to feel you near

I miss your gentle voice

Saying it's okay

I miss your arms holding me

I miss you more each day

I'm so afraid of losing you

You're all that I have got

I know that you're not perfect

But you're everything I'm not

I want to say I Love You

I want to tell you how I feel

But you've been taken away from me

And my heart needs time to heal

No one seems to understand

How much that i need you

I hope you feel the same

I hope you need me too,

I miss you more than you will know

And more than words can say

It doesn't matter what others do

I love you anyway

They can say we cannot talk

And tell us it won't work

They can try to break us up,

They can try to make us hurt

But what they dont understand

Is they're tearing me apart

Im committed to only you

I've given you my heart

I'm trying to make you realize

It's you that I adore

Every day that passes by

I love you more and more

I'm asking youto never leave

I'm begging you to stay

But no matter what you choose

I will love you anyway

Innocence lost in the hope of this love becoming the true love! Sweet and genuine!

I don't believe in going back and altering my old work, so what if it's juvenile it is who you were at that time and is worth preserving as it is. This is a fantastic piece.

DOn't touch it. This is nostaligia at its finest and speaks to the young hearts and the dreamer and the child revolutionary in all of us.
This is teenage beauty personified, when the world was decided in passing notes, sunday cartoons and good grades.

Magic, pure Fuhking magic

I love the 4th paragraph :) Humorous now or not, this is still a great piece of work and I'm sure many young girls could read this in their current state and connect with it greatly. Fantastic !!

This is so sweet! Maybe instead of putting 'I'll love you anyway' 'I will love you anyway, I dunno, it has a better flow to it.
